Carcassonne : Inns & Cathedrals

Inns and Cathedrals adds not only more tiles and thus more possible scoring options, but also 50 and 100 point tiles for when you’ve sent your scoring man around the board once/twice. There was a definite need for these tiles as in a two player game we often had men moving around on their back to indicate +50 and on their head to indicate +100!

The actual mechanics of the game remain the same, but you have more tiles with depictions of Cathedrals and Inns (funnily enough!). These increase the value of a city and road respectively, but only if they are complete.

Another level to the base game, but boy is it frustrating to pull out a Cathedral near the end of the game!
